Role Overview
The IRC is on the lookout for a dedicated Grants Manager to spearhead our engagement with both statutory and private strategic funders. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance our capacity to secure and manage a diverse portfolio of domestic and international funding for IRC programs.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in increasing strategic grant support for the Irish Red Cross and will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of grant-supported initiatives.
The Grants Manager will oversee the strategic development of the IRC's Strategic Grants Programme, guiding its operations to align with the organization’s goals and supporting departments in all facets of grant acquisition and management, including identifying funding opportunities, contributing to proposal development, and ensuring effective utilization of grant resources.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify domestic and international grant opportunities from both private and statutory donors.
Engage with potential funding sources to support IRC programs, including private trusts, foundations, the Irish government, the EU, and its member states.
