We are seeking proactive individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and possess a keen eye for detail. If you have a background in utilizing various technological applications for data entry, you might be the perfect fit for our team. This position is on a contract basis and will be conducted from our office located within the Kuala Lumpur Air Cargo Terminal, conveniently situated near the airport. Shift work is required, and you will report directly to the Executive of Ground Operations on duty.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As part of our dynamic startup, your days will be diverse and engaging. Multitasking is a daily norm, and your unique skills may be called upon to assist with various business priorities. Primarily, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring adequate manpower planning for the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Collaborating with the Chief Transportation Officer (CTO) to prioritize cargo for both export and import.
- Preparing essential documents such as AWB, Lot Labels, and Control Forms for the cargo acceptance process.
- Verifying weights and dimensions of cargo, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinating with the CTO and Air Operations for special arrangements regarding delicate cargo, including livestock, food, and medical supplies.
- Monitoring inbound and outbound traffic for load quality and accuracy.
- Managing relationships with CTOs, Line Haul Trucks, and vendors to streamline cargo retrieval and submission processes.
- Performing light warehouse duties, such as moving boxes and pallets using a dolly.
