Group Financial Accountant
Location: Hybrid working model with offices in High Wycombe
Term: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + exceptional benefits

The Opportunity:
We are on the lookout for an ACA-qualified Accountant to join our dynamic Group Finance team as a Group Financial Accountant. This role will involve supporting external statutory reporting, handling IFRS technical accounting, and addressing tax and treasury matters. This is a fantastic chance for an individual eager to take charge of statutory and technical accounting processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Group’s annual and half-year reporting processes, including:
- Preparation of consolidated IFRS statutory accounts and disclosures.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial statements and annual reports with appropriate disclosures.
- Serve as a primary contact for external auditors, facilitating the coordination of annual and interim audits.
- Draft technical accounting memos for the Audit Committee in compliance with IFRS.
- Develop and maintain Group-wide accounting policies and the Group Finance Manual.
- Act as the Group’s technical accounting expert, providing guidance on accounting treatment in line with IFRS.
- Manage the Group’s internal control program, including the internal control declaration process.
- Prepare financial statements for all UK-based entities, ensuring timely filing.
- Manage accounting for share-based payments, including preparing budgets and forecasts for the Group.
Support for Outsourced Tax Providers:
- Assist with the accounting for current and deferred tax across the Group.
- Complete tax packs for external tax advisers.
- Support the preparation of corporation tax computations for all Group companies.
- Help maintain and implement the Group’s transfer pricing policy.
