As the Group Financial Controller at Ergomed, you will spearhead the Group’s financial reporting, consolidation, and control across diverse international entities. This crucial role ensures adherence to IFRS, regulatory guidelines, and internal governance standards. You will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reporting, audit processes, and comprehensive financial performance analysis, while upholding robust internal controls and maintaining balance sheet accuracy.
Your leadership will extend to global finance teams, collaborating closely with the CFO and senior management to facilitate strategic financial planning, budgeting, and informed decision-making. You will champion process enhancements, finance systems advancements, pricing strategies, margin support, and ESG reporting, to ensure efficient, precise, and scalable financial operations across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Group Consolidation:
- Lead the Group’s monthly financial reporting and annual statements preparation.
- Manage the consolidation process across multiple international entities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the timely production of accurate management accounts and detailed financial analysis for senior leadership.
- Coordinate the creation of financial reporting packs for the Board and executives.
- Monitor critical financial metrics and support performance analysis across the Group.
Financial Control & Governance:
- Maintain and enhance strong internal financial controls.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and financial policies.
- Manage costs effectively and ensure accountability for expenditures.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and review processes.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial control frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks across international operations.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Audit & Compliance:
- Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing the Group audit process.
- Coordinate the preparation of audit deliverables and ensure timely completion of statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
