Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Growth Lead to take charge of the partner-to-merchant revenue lifecycle within the U.S. market. This role transcends traditional sales; it involves collaborating with SaaS platforms to seamlessly integrate payments into their product offerings and monetization strategies.
As the commercial lead of your pod, you will be responsible for creating pipelines, acquiring partners, activating merchants, and delivering revenue results. You will collaborate cross-functionally with technical, product, and operational teams within Valpay and our partner organizations to unlock new growth avenues.
Your Responsibilities
- Expand and nurture software partner accounts: Identify prospects, pitch, and close SaaS platforms by showcasing embedded payments as a powerful revenue generator.
- Explore and develop growth avenues: Analyze regions or verticals with the highest growth potential and tailor localized outreach strategies.
- Manage partner relationships: Work closely with partner sales teams to activate and scale merchant accounts effectively.
- Oversee full lifecycle adoption: Coordinate your pod to ensure seamless onboarding, product utilization, and revenue growth.
- Lead with influence: Take responsibility for performance metrics and unify pod members around ambitious commercial targets.
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or growth within SaaS, fintech, or payments.
- Proven experience in selling to or partnering with software companies/ISVs.
- A strong combination of commercial expertise and technical acumen.
- Capability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- A builder mentality: self-driven, proactive, and comfortable with cold calling or pursuing large accounts.
- Bonus: Experience in PayFac, embedded finance, or SaaS partnerships.
