THE POSITION:
As a key member of our sales team, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth by leading strategic workstreams during pitches, effectively communicating the value of our core solutions, contributing to pitch strategy and content, and managing a portfolio of small to mid-sized deals. Your primary focus will be on marketing services including branding and experience design, campaign strategy and execution, media management, data solutions, e-commerce, AI transformation, product innovation and development, as well as systems integration.
To excel in this role, you must possess a commercially-minded, inquisitive approach. A comprehensive understanding of various industry verticals and the ability to formulate pitch strategies that showcase DEPT®’s capabilities is essential. Familiarity with the complete agency sales funnel—from brand building to performance tactics and business development—is important, with an emphasis on bottom-funnel performance metrics such as close rates and revenue generation.
Building trust and rapport swiftly, asking insightful questions, and applying a strategic lens to agency solutions sales are crucial skills. An entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving, is vital for success in this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the new pitch process, including timeline creation, pitch briefing development, strategy formulation for winning pitches, and contributing compelling content for new client proposals and tender documents.
- Own and craft detailed responses for new pitches, including RFIs and procurement processes, while collaborating with legal and finance teams as needed.
- Enhance the business development process by refining qualification strategies, win strategies, pitch casting, usability, and best practices to improve client outcomes and elevate the DEPT® customer experience.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targeted revenue goals.
