The Partnerships segment within GTM is tasked with building and managing a global network of strategic alliances, including systems integrators, technology partners, and distributors, to foster customer success, promote responsible AI use, and broaden the reach of OpenAI’s platform.
We collaborate across various functions, including Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Solutions, and Revenue Operations, to deliver impactful customer outcomes.
About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic GTM Partnerships Enablement Lead to define and scale our approach to empowering our global partner ecosystem. This role involves transforming product and GTM strategies into clear, repeatable programs that equip partners to effectively sell, deliver, and support OpenAI solutions.
You will establish and lead the partner enablement function, encompassing strategy, programs, content, and systems aimed at enhancing partner productivity and ensuring consistent execution across various regions and partner types. This role demands strong cross-functional leadership, combining the development of new initiatives with the scaling of global programs. You will closely collaborate with Partnerships leadership and teams across Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Solutions, and Revenue Operations to ensure that partner-facing initiatives are clearly communicated and yield measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Define and spearhead OpenAI’s global partner enablement strategy.
Build and expand the partner enablement function, including team structure, operating model, and systems.
Design and implement repeatable programs for onboarding, activation, product launches, and GTM initiatives.
Oversee the global rollout of enablement initiatives, ensuring they are adaptable for different regions and partner segments.
Develop partner readiness programs that include training, certifications, and learning pathways for sales, technical, and delivery roles.
Create high-quality enablement materials such as playbooks, solution guides, and messaging frameworks.
Empower partners to identify, qualify, and secure AI opportunities aligned with OpenAI’s GTM objectives.
Collaborate across functions to align priorities, messaging, and execution for all partner-facing initiatives.
Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor partner engagement and success.
