As the first point of contact for our valued guests, the Front Desk Agent is integral in crafting an inviting and enjoyable experience. This role is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries, and managing reservations and special requests. The Front Desk Agent guarantees a seamless check-in and check-out process while embodying a professional, friendly, and accommodating attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with warmth and efficiently manage the check-in and check-out procedures.
- Distribute room keys and coordinate with Bell Services for additional guest assistance.
- Organize and relay incoming mail and messages for guests.
- Handle phone messages accurately and promptly.
- Offer insights about the resort, local dining, shopping, and attractions.
- Track room availability and maintain precise guest records.
- Process payments, post charges, and provide correct change.
- Manage guest reservations, making modifications and confirmations as needed.
- Add charges from dining, room service, or other services to guest accounts.
- Assist guests with restaurant bookings, transportation arrangements, and local activities.
- Safeguard guest valuables upon request in the hotel safe or safety deposit box.
- Conduct nightly bucket checks to ensure consistency in guest activity records.
- Respond to guest concerns promptly and work toward effective solutions.
