The Role…
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Guest Services Receptionist to become part of our team at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. In this role, you will be instrumental in addressing guest inquiries, facilitating travel arrangements, and managing reservation bookings for the hotel and various amenities through phone, email, or our central reservation system.
- Welcome every member and guest with warmth, ensuring a friendly and hospitable atmosphere that embodies the Soho House ethos.
- Manage reservations for additional services such as the spa and restaurant.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from members and guests via phone or email.
- Process reservations from the sales office, other departments, and travel agents.
- Familiarize with room types, locations, and layouts.
- Understand the selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans.
- Communicate reservation details and special requests effectively to the front desk.
- Handle cancellations and modifications, promptly updating the front desk.
- Understand hotel policies regarding guaranteed reservations and no-shows, conveying this information to guests.
- Prepare the expected arrival list for front office use.
- Keep member and guest profiles up to date.
- Manage daily correspondence, responding to inquiries and securing reservations as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of all front office procedures.
- Be willing to assist management with reasonable requests in other areas of the establishment.
- Foster positive relationships with members and guests.
- Effectively communicate any feedback to the management team.
- Contribute to a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
- Stay well-informed on standard operating procedures, menus, amenities, and pricing.
