Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance thermomechanical systems and components for HAMR manufacturing processes, focusing on reliability and efficiency.
- Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) and computational modeling tools to conduct thermal and mechanical simulations, validating designs and forecasting system performance.
- Assess material properties, thermal gradients, and mechanical stresses to optimize manufacturing parameters and enhance process efficiency.
- Create and implement rigorous testing protocols to validate thermomechanical designs and manufacturing methodologies.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, analytical reports, and process improvement recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing, materials science, and process engineering teams to integrate thermomechanical solutions into production workflows.
- Diagnose technical challenges and implement corrective measures to resolve thermomechanical issues.
