The Head Housekeeper will oversee the housekeeping team, manage janitorial assignments, conduct room inspections, and lead special cleaning projects. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a self-motivated attitude.
In this position, you will ensure that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet the high standards of Red Roof Inn. You will collaborate with other staff members to deliver exceptional service and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and security standards.
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and prepared according to RRI's inspection criteria.
- Complete daily tasks within budgeted time frames.
- Follow established cleaning procedures for all rooms.
- Inspect rooms as per the Housekeeping Handbook.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to inn management.
- Communicate effectively with staff and prepare work schedules.
- Check and ensure proper operation of fixtures and equipment.
- Adjust heating/cooling systems as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in and around guest rooms.
- Offer special services to guests upon request.
- Submit Rooms Cleaned Reports and maintenance requests as necessary.
- Report discrepancies between stayovers and checkouts.
- Return room keys to the front desk at the end of shifts.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and storage areas organized and tidy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
