About the Role
We are at the forefront of wearable technology with our cutting-edge intelligent eyewear. We are seeking a visionary Head of Advanced Manufacturing who will play a pivotal role in transforming revolutionary designs into high-quality, manufacturable products. This position demands a leader who is not only passionate about smart technology but also excels in solving intricate manufacturing challenges through meticulous engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
Innovate and refine manufacturing processes to convert smart eyewear concepts into viable products.
Engage collaboratively with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to blend advanced technology with stylish and durable eyewear solutions.
Lead continuous enhancement initiatives to boost production efficiency, implementing stringent quality control standards.
Establish strong partnerships with suppliers to procure the highest quality materials necessary for production.
Utilize a data-driven strategy to optimize operational processes, minimize costs, and scale production while managing risks throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally within the consumer electronics or eyewear sectors.
Proven expertise in process optimization, quality assurance, and managing comprehensive production cycles.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with hands-on experience in process automation and manufacturing technologies.
Outstanding communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
