We are seeking a Senior Head of Community who can transform our client’s audience into a passionate movement. This individual will possess a deep understanding of brand narrative, reputation management, and the ability to amplify positioning through purposeful messaging and engagement.
This senior leadership position is perfect for someone experienced in building large-scale communities and adept at refining or completely revitalizing brand messaging.
Role Overview
The Senior Head of Community will be responsible for the strategy, structure, and expansion of our client's community ecosystem across various platforms including social media, email, ambassador programs, customer groups, and owned channels.
Your role will be to shape how individuals interact with the brand beyond mere transactions—fostering trust, advocacy, and enduring loyalty.
This position requires both strategic brand insight and hands-on leadership. You must be prepared to refine positioning, clarify messaging, and make adjustments as necessary.
What You’ll Own
1. Community Strategy & Growth
- Design and implement a comprehensive community strategy across various platforms
- Develop engaged customer ecosystems (private groups, ambassador programs, etc.)
- Create systems that convert customers into advocates
- Boost retention, lifetime value, and brand loyalty through community engagement
2. Brand Messaging & Narrative Enhancement
- Refine and elevate our client's brand messaging across community channels
- Identify and rectify inconsistencies or dilution in messaging
- Establish frameworks that unify the brand voice across teams
- Translate complex product science into empowering, community-focused language
- Lead brand revitalization initiatives when necessary
3. Reputation & Trust Management
- Monitor community sentiment and proactively manage relationships
