We are in search of a highly skilled and strategic Head of Corporate Development to spearhead and implement transformative initiatives across fundraising, investor relations, and long-term strategic planning. This position is perfectly suited for a professional with 15–22 years of experience, especially those who have excelled in dynamic startup settings and have independently managed capital raise efforts from inception to completion.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Corporate Development, you will play an integral role in directing the company's growth by leading fundraising initiatives, cultivating investor relations, and collaborating closely with the executive leadership team on key strategic projects. Your responsibilities include pinpointing and securing capital opportunities, structuring investment deals, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive fundraising processes, including equity and capital raising across various funding stages (Seed, Series A/B/C, growth-stage, or pre-IPO).
- Craft and implement effective fundraising strategies that align with the organization’s financial trajectory and strategic objectives.
- Establish, manage, and foster relationships with investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and strategic allies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive investor presentations, including pitch decks, financial models, and business cases.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and other leaders to drive strategic planning, financial forecasting, and corporate growth initiatives.
- Assess strategic opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Lead due diligence efforts and liaise with legal, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and investor sentiments to guide strategic choices.
- Serve as a key adviser to leadership regarding capital structure, valuations, and growth strategies.

- Proven expertise in fundraising and equity raising, with a successful track record of closing deals.
- Thorough understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with an ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
- Proven capability to independently lead complex transactions from sourcing to completion.
- Strategic mindset coupled with robust execution skills.
