About the role:
Angi is seeking a Head of Global Payroll to spearhead and expand our payroll operations across the U.S. and internationally. This prominent leadership position within the Accounting department is crucial for ensuring precise, compliant, and streamlined payroll for a large and intricate workforce, which operates under various compensation structures and jurisdictions.
You will oversee payroll operations for approximately 1,600 employees in the U.S. and Canada, including a substantial number of hourly employees who earn commissions, overtime, and other variable compensation. Additionally, you will manage payroll operations in France, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands via external providers.
In addition to operational excellence, this role is integral to supporting the monthly closing process and maintaining robust payroll controls within a public company framework. You will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, HR Benefits, and HRIS while leading a payroll team dedicated to delivering accurate and prompt payroll at scale.
We are in search of a candidate who combines extensive payroll expertise with outstanding operational leadership. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex payroll systems, managing a team, and serving as Angi’s primary authority on all payroll-related issues.
