Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Head of Maintenance to oversee the operations and maintenance of our camp facilities in Calabasas, CA. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and ready for our guests, including responsibilities in landscaping, property upkeep, and facilitating guest group arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster the professional and spiritual development of the maintenance staff.
- Create and manage work schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
- Report any property damage or maintenance needs to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of all camp areas, including landscaping.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as trash removal, room setups, and general cleaning.
- Collaborate with the Guest Service Manager to coordinate schedules for guest groups.
- Promptly address any hazards observed on the property.
- Support repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment as needed.
- Utilize maintenance software for task tracking and preventive measures.
- Operate specialized equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, and pressure washers.
- Assist in hosting groups to ensure their needs are met throughout their stay.
- Act as the eyes and ears of the camp, monitoring property conditions.
