A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Head Production Chef with extensive pastry experience to join our dynamic events company, launching its inaugural restaurant specializing in exquisite British pies and pastries.
We are seeking a candidate with a rich background in high-quality bakery and pastry production, ideally within the events and operations sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the seamless operation of our new venue with a capacity for 50 guests, in addition to takeout and events.
- Ensure consistency and profitability (GP) of food offerings.
- Foster a healthy, enjoyable, and productive working environment, promoting high staff morale.
- Complete all requisite administrative tasks efficiently.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of your culinary team.
- Uphold due diligence and stay current with health and safety hygiene legislation.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Chef with a focus on pastry production; experience in restaurants or gastro establishments is a plus.
- Stable employment history with excellent references.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A calm demeanor and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional products.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, with excellent growth opportunities within an expanding and successful company.
Working hours are flexible, likely from 6 AM to 2 PM or 3 PM over a 5-day work week.
