Job Summary
- Responsible for overseeing safety protocols within Engineering and Construction projects.
- Ensures adherence to safety standards during Pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate, assess, and implement company policies related to HSE.
- Manage specific areas of responsibility, conducting audits and inspections to maintain effective HSE control on-site.
- Ensure compliance with both organizational and governmental HSE regulations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and site personnel to promote safety culture.
- Develop and deliver orientation programs for new project staff.
- Engage with client representatives regarding site supervision matters.
- Oversee and mentor HSE Officers in the designated area.
- Regularly generate and review safety reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and Samsung E&C Construction Management to enhance safety measures.
- Identify and implement improvements for site safety conditions.
- Lead the adoption and implementation of the company's HSE initiatives.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate essential documentation to meet corporate or regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) assessments and SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations Procedures).
- Conduct periodic inspections and emergency drills to evaluate ERT team effectiveness.
- Assist construction teams in implementing Permit to Work systems.
- Support department-wide initiatives, including ISO certifications.
- Create project-specific Safety, Health, and Environmental Plans and oversee their implementation.
- Engage in Task Risk Assessments and facilitate toolbox talks to enhance HSE awareness.
- Maintain safety documentation, statistics, manuals, and procedures.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of emergency drills, firefighting techniques, and personal survival protocols.
