About This Role:
Crusoe is searching for a seasoned and proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to enhance safety practices within our power operations. Located at our data center power plant in Abilene, TX, with opportunities for travel to additional sites, you will be a vital member of the Power Operations Team. Your extensive knowledge in rotating equipment, electrical safety, process safety, and large-scale turbine operations will be essential in this role. We seek an individual who can communicate effectively at all organizational levels, continuously identify and mitigate risks, and nurture a strong safety culture. This full-time position offers the chance to directly impact our critical power infrastructure's efficiency and safety.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Risk Partnership & Action Planning: Collaborate with the Power Operations Team to identify operational risks and formulate actionable plans for mitigation.
HSE Culture Development: Foster a culture of high HSE awareness through ongoing communication, targeted training, and encouraging active participation in HSE initiatives.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Perform comprehensive risk assessments and provide practical recommendations to minimize hazards and improve safety standards.
Procedure & Process Implementation: Create and deploy a variety of HSE processes, procedures, work instructions, and checklists to ensure safe operational guidelines.
Compliance Monitoring & Reporting: Vigilantly monitor adherence to relevant regulations, internal policies, and established procedures, producing regular reports on HSE objectives and key performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with contractors, clients, and regulatory entities regarding HSE matters, ensuring alignment and compliance.
