Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Check-In Specialist to become an integral part of our healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and facilitate the appointment check-in process for our providers and Practice Coordinators, ensuring a seamless experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 20-40 check-in calls daily to confirm member availability and readiness for their scheduled appointments.
- Communicate directly with providers using Athena chat to report no-shows, cancellations, and provide real-time updates.
- Collaborate with Practice Coordinators to maintain clarity on appointment statuses and address provider requests (e.g., schedule changes).
- Troubleshoot and address day-of appointment challenges, including cancellations and member inquiries.
- Manage insurance verification updates and assist with additional member appointments.
- Utilize tools such as Athena and Salesforce (experience preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience within the healthcare sector is essential.
- Proficient in using chat-based communication tools for internal collaboration.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle a dynamic workload.
- Familiarity with Athena or Salesforce is advantageous but not required.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced remote environment with established communication protocols.
