Through Triangular Group, you'll contribute to the training of military personnel who operate helicopters and engage in 3D operations on a daily basis.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a member of the Air Mobility Instruction Group (AMIG) — the expert center for helicopter operations — you will train military personnel in essential skills including Landing Point Finder (LPF), Landing Point Commander (LPC), Helicopter Handling Instructor (HHI), and various helicopter embarkation and disembarkation methods such as fast roping. You will convert your operational experience into realistic and safe instruction, directly enhancing the operational readiness of units reliant on air mobility.
Deliver training within the LPF, LPC, and HHI domains.
Train military personnel in helicopter procedures, terrain assessment, and safety protocols.
Guide practical exercises while ensuring structure and risk management.
Provide instruction on fast roping and alternative helicopter embarkation and disembarkation methods.
Collaborate with specialists within AMIG to enhance the training curriculum.
Contribute to knowledge development in the Dutch helicopter domain.
Where Will You Be Working?
Your workplace will be the NLD Air Ground Operations School, where air mobility and helicopter-related training converge. The environment includes classrooms, training fields, and sites where helicopter procedures can be realistically practiced. You will collaborate with instructors who have firsthand experience in LMB, SOF, Marines, Navy, or DHC. Regular coordination with a training coordinator will focus on planning, progress, and quality assurance, with discussions centered on uniformity, safety, and continuous development of the training program. Triangular Group colleagues will be present at various times, with occasional visits to the headquarters in Heerle.
