Your Role:
Mathematics is the key to a future filled with possibilities. As a Math Teacher at Mastery, you will be passionate about inspiring a love for mathematics in your students while honing your own teaching skills. From the moment students enter our schools, they will engage with the innovative, open-source Eureka Math Curriculum, which fosters the development of strong mathematical fluency.
Our students in grades K-8 learn through the Eureka curriculum, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the challenges of higher-level mathematics in grades 9-12. At the high school level, students will study Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, with opportunities for advanced coursework in Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. Our core curriculum for Algebra I/II, Geometry, and Precalculus is provided by Agile Mind.
As a Math Teacher at Mastery, you will uphold high expectations while providing robust support to ensure all students achieve success. You will collaborate closely with our Specialized Services and School Culture teams to guarantee your students receive the necessary assistance to excel.
At Mastery, we emphasize Continuous Improvement, encouraging you to develop and expand your teaching expertise. We have established a supportive framework including Assistant Principals, central-office coaches, and school-based content teams to offer every teacher coaching and constructive feedback. Professional development and peer collaboration are integral components of our educational approach.
