As an Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) at Burger King, you will take the lead during your assigned shifts to drive sales and achieve profitability while ensuring exceptional guest service. Working closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM), you will manage daily operations, motivate team members, and enhance overall restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Profitability:
- Adhere to all cash control and security protocols, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
- Conduct daily and weekly inventory inspections to maintain stock levels.
- Receive and verify inventory deliveries.
Guest Service:
- Inspire and guide team members to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service in a clean environment.
People Development:
- Offer constructive feedback and coaching to help team members grow and improve overall restaurant performance.
Operational Excellence:
- Lead by example to implement shift plans and achieve operational goals.
- Oversee the efficient preparation and sale of products, ensuring timely service.
- Motivate team members across all workstations during shifts.
- Analyze restaurant performance to identify strengths and areas for development.
- Ensure compliance with operational and brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; 2 years of college education preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant environment.
- Strong understanding of guest service principles.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work long and/or irregular shifts as required.
