Housekeeper Role Overview:
The Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in upholding the pristine image of our accommodations, ensuring each room meets our high standards of cleanliness and order. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to excellence in daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms by thoroughly cleaning, ventilating, disinfecting, and arranging spaces, including changing bed linens and towels to restore rooms after guest departures.
- Replenish guest toiletries and ensure rooms are tidy and welcoming.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, informing management of any shortages and maintaining proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring all cleaning procedures align with established standards.
- Communicate room status to the Reception Department and respond promptly to special guest requests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of cleaning and disinfecting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
