Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 per year
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to become a valued member of our team at Kaplan Brighton.
Role Overview
As a Housekeeper at Kaplan Living, you will be essential in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our student accommodations. You will be responsible for maintaining communal spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and lounges, ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for our students. Additionally, this role involves reporting maintenance issues, restocking supplies, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in shared living areas.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Support the well-being of residents.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or student services, preferably in hotels or student accommodations.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative team player who shares knowledge with others.
- Commitment to the 'more than just a room' philosophy of Kaplan Living.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
- Passion for customer service with a sensitivity to student needs.
- Flexible in working hours.
