Job Summary
The Guest Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the luxurious standards of cleanliness at Wynn & Encore. This position involves performing thorough cleaning of guest rooms, conducting self-inspections, and providing exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and an ability to anticipate guest needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to Wynn policies and procedures, embodying the company culture while showcasing pride in the resort and its amenities.
- Maintain an awareness of the guest experience at all times, greeting guests with a smile and making eye contact while communicating professionally.
- Follow departmental guidelines for room cleanliness and self-inspection.
- Uphold the Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers consistently.
- Ensure assigned rooms are serviced to Five Star cleanliness and presentation, implementing self-inspections according to Forbes guidelines.
- Perform general cleaning and special projects to maintain the cleanliness and condition of each room.
- Effectively manage time to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Replenish all room amenities including toiletries, soaps, and tissues.
- Utilize HotSOS/iPod for room management including messaging and work order processes.
- Submit work orders via HotSOS for any maintenance or condition issues in rooms.
- Safely operate and maneuver powered mobile carts.
- Interact with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, adhering to departmental and company safety protocols.
- Participate in required training sessions, applying new standards and safety practices in daily tasks.
- Possess knowledge of resort and hotel features and services to assist guests effectively.
- Stay focused on tasks, promoting teamwork and a solution-oriented approach.
- Comply with the current Union Collective Bargaining Agreement and Operational Policies.
