Become an essential part of our hotel team as a Houseperson! In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our public areas are impeccably maintained, providing guests with a clean and welcoming environment. Your efforts will contribute significantly to creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors.
As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for carrying out various cleaning tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect in non-room areas as well as back-of-house spaces.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas, excluding kitchens and storage spaces.
- Thoroughly clean public areas such as the lobby, restaurant, and conference rooms.
- Ensure locker rooms and both staff and public restrooms are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform regular cleaning duties as scheduled.
- Handle cleaning equipment with care, reporting any issues as per our procedures.
- Maintain all departmental equipment to a high standard.
- Assist with regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies.
- Ensure the security of keys and all areas by following security protocols and reporting any suspicious activity to your Supervisor.
- Understand and correctly use cleaning agents while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide support to the Housekeeping team by assisting with linen deliveries, chemical handling, laundry, and heavy lifting tasks.
