Your Role and Impact:
As an HR Business Partner at Upside, you will be integral in supporting various client groups and collaborating closely with people managers to enhance employee experiences and drive business results. You will prioritize manager-level and team-level partnerships while contributing to wider People & Workplace initiatives aimed at scaling Upside. This position is tailored for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy hands-on involvement, and seek to expand their influence as strategic partners in people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with people managers across diverse client groups, including Engineering and Retail Go-To-Market, to fulfill day-to-day HR needs and deliver exceptional support.
- Offer coaching and support to managers regarding performance management, employee development, engagement, and team effectiveness.
- Assist in the implementation of people programs and processes, such as performance reviews, talent discussions, and employee development initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities and suggest practical, actionable solutions.
- Act as a trusted contact for employees, fostering open communication and reinforcing Upside's culture and core values.
- Manage employee relations matters with integrity, discretion, and collaboration with senior HR leaders as needed.
- Support organizational change initiatives and adapt to the evolving needs of teams within a growing company.
- Work cross-functionally within the People & Workplace team to roll out programs, policies, and tools.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Principal HRBP on intricate or sensitive matters involving senior leadership or broader organizational implications.
