Position Purpose
The HR Business Partner is pivotal in designing, implementing, and embedding training, organizational development, leadership capabilities, and AI-driven learning initiatives throughout Interwood. This role serves as a proactive internal partner in organizational development, ensuring the enhancement of people capabilities, leadership preparedness, cultural alignment, and the advancement of future skills across all facets of Interwood’s operations, including manufacturing, retail, corporate sales, and support functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Capability Development
- Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across all departments:
- Manufacturing (Wood, Boards, Metal, Upholstery, Polish)
- Retail Sales & Showrooms
- Corporate Sales
- Support Functions
- Design and implement role-specific learning pathways for various employee levels:
- Shop-floor and frontline employees
- Supervisors and first-time managers
- Middle management
- Senior leadership
- Create practical, SOP-based learning content, toolkits, job aids, and micro-learning modules.
- Oversee external trainers and institutions as necessary, ensuring ROI and relevance.
2. Organizational Development
- Assist in organizational structuring initiatives, including:
- Role clarity
- Job architecture
- Span of control reviews
- Develop and institutionalize competency frameworks that align with:
- Manufacturing excellence
- Retail and customer experience
- Leadership and people management
- Succession planning
- Talent reviews and high-potential identification and development.
- Support change management initiatives during:
- Organizational restructuring
- Leadership transitions
- System and process implementations
3. Leadership & Culture Development
- Design and implement Leadership Development Programs (LDPs) in alignment with Interwood’s values, culture, and business priorities.
- Enhance managerial capabilities in:
- Performance conversations
