The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This position operates within the established framework of HR processes, procedures, and standard work instructions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exit Process Management: Oversee the complete exit process for departing employees, ensuring all relevant paperwork is prepared and that the payroll team is informed promptly.
- Absence Management: Address employee inquiries regarding absences and leaves, manage leave requests and attendance records, and ensure timely submission of necessary documentation to the payroll team.
- Relocation and Transfers: Assist with the processes related to employee relocations and international transfers.
- Immigration Support: Help with immigration and work permit visa applications.
- Parental Leave Assistance: Support the processes for maternity, parental, and paternity leaves.
- Employee Queries: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, maintaining communication via the HR mailing distribution list.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including pension, life and medical insurance, and meal cards.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TASKS:
- Provide assistance during onboarding processes as needed, which includes preparing employment contracts and other essential documents.
COMMON HR TASKS:
- Prepare various HR documents such as agreements, addendums, and reference letters.
- Maintain up-to-date employee files, both electronic and physical.
