The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position involves managing all aspects of Human Resources processes throughout the employee life cycle with greater autonomy and efficiency than an HR Administrator. Depending on the location, this role may also include responsibilities for benefits administration and payroll. The Human Resources Generalist ensures strict compliance with local laws as well as internal policies and procedures, demonstrating capability in handling complex processes and engaging in employee relations cases. The incumbent is expected to identify and propose enhancements to internal procedures, managing responsibilities across multiple locations.
DESCRIPTION
Oversee a wide range of activities from transactional HR functions to supporting large-scale projects across various locations, countries, and regions.
Independently manage diverse processes in the employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, parental leaves, and other leave types, ensuring that all necessary information and documentation is meticulously filed and submitted to payroll in a timely manner.
Coordinate relocation and transfer processes, including visa applications when applicable, payroll transfers, and related activities.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of Company processes and policies.
Respond to inquiries from employees and managers with a high level of autonomy.
Administer various benefit plans in compliance with local regulations and Company policies.
Utilize compliance knowledge effectively to safeguard the Company from potential liabilities and risks.
Maintain adherence to regulations concerning all employment aspects such as vacation and overtime pay.
