Highlights of Your Role
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faulty HVAC/R equipment, components, or wiring, including refrigerant handling.
- Offer alternative mechanical solutions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed in our Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Accurately log inventory transactions related to equipment maintenance.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- A 2-year degree or equivalent experience in HVAC/R.
- Ability to obtain a Minnesota Special Engineer License for boiler operation.
- Willingness to train on ARC flash and acquire a Registered Unlicensed Electrician License.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals for troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system wiring, piping, troubleshooting, and controls.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
