Join the Bank of Georgia as an IFRS Advisory Manager within our Finance Department. We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure that our Group's financial statements are fully compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
In this pivotal role, you will analyze complex transactions, provide management with insightful recommendations, and spearhead the implementation of new IFRS standards. We are looking for a candidate with a robust understanding of IFRS and significant practical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure compliance of the Bank of Georgia Group's financial statements with IFRS standards.
Offer expert consultations on IFRS-related issues during the development of complex transactions, prepare management recommendations, draft technical memorandums, and liaise with external auditors.
Develop IFRS accounting policies and internal guidelines.
Research, evaluate, and facilitate the adoption of new IFRS standards and analyze their financial implications for the Group and its subsidiaries.
Required Qualifications:
Education: A higher education degree, preferably in a technical field; ACCA certification is a plus.
Experience:
A strong background in audit or financial reporting is essential.
Experience within the banking sector and practical application of IFRS is advantageous.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English.
Understanding of banking products and processes is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
