The Opportunity
We are looking for an Implementation Engineer to take charge of customer implementations from start to finish, ensuring their success with our product. You will create repeatable “playbooks” for data migrations, mapping customer schemas into our product's core structures, troubleshooting edge cases, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance product reliability and fill feature gaps.
This hands-on position requires a blend of technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity is common, and your ability to deliver results is paramount. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer implementations and guide them toward successful outcomes.
- Develop and maintain data migration “playbooks” (workflows to extract, transform, and map customer data into product primitives).
- Identify and resolve schema and data issues; work with JSON structures and data transformation logic.
- Engage in hands-on technical tasks as needed (e.g., scripting, light automation, debugging implementation challenges).
- Support workflows involving web scraping, web parsing, and related tasks; leverage knowledge of HTML, selectors, and web page structures.
- Collaborate with engineering to report bugs, identify missing features, and suggest product enhancements based on implementation insights.
- Ensure customer success and engagement through clear communication, expectation management, and identifying expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- Technical proficiency in data workflows, JSON, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in B2B software implementation is a plus.
