About the Role
Join our team in Amman, Jordan as an Inclusive Humanitarian Action (IHA) Specialist starting in early May for a six-month contract. At Humanity & Inclusion, we are dedicated to providing impartial aid in situations of poverty, conflict, and disaster, focusing on the needs of people with disabilities and vulnerable populations.
Since our establishment in 1982, we have operated in over 60 countries, responding to emergencies and developing programs with a budget of around 200 million euros and a workforce of 4,000 dedicated employees worldwide.

Job Context
The operational strategy of our Palestine Emergency mission is built on four pillars: Health (Rehabilitation and P&O), Armed Violence Reduction, Atlas Logistics, and Education. Essential components include Inclusive Humanitarian Action, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Protection Mainstreaming, and Disability Gender Age (DGA) considerations.
Our mission addresses the significant barriers faced by women, men, girls, and boys with disabilities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip due to ongoing humanitarian crises.
Your Mission
As the IHA Specialist, you will lead the strategy and implementation of technical assistance focusing on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in humanitarian action. You will engage with humanitarian coordination mechanisms, clusters, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of IASC Guidelines.
