ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Independent Sales Representative for the Golf Division at Mizzen+Main, you will be entrusted with managing your own territory (Manhattan, NY), fostering customer relationships, and overseeing all aspects of the sales process for both existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of the golf industry and a passion for golf apparel. This position reports directly to the Golf Account Executive.
This role is a remote independent contractor position.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Drive and execute sales within your territory. Success will be achieved by:
- Developing and nurturing relationships with partners through regular communication and in-store visits.
- Completing product training for seasonal and pre-book lines, ensuring accounts understand our value proposition and brand differentiation.
- Assisting accounts with visual merchandising and inventory management.
- Managing all relevant regional trade shows and events; participating in national shows as necessary (e.g., PGA Show).
- Prospecting and onboarding new accounts to support growth and align with the brand.
- Presenting opportunities for soft shops or fixtures to enhance brand visibility, as well as tournament opportunities.
- Maintaining transparency of business performance and providing regular reports to your supervisor on both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from accounts.
- Contributing to the overall culture and success of Mizzen+Main.
