AdventHealth East Orlando is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated board-certified physician with a background in Family or Internal Medicine to take on the role of Medical Director. This position involves joining an established inpatient practice affiliated with the Allopathic Family Medicine residency and focuses solely on clinical responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
- At least two years of clinical experience.
- Preferred leadership experience in medical staff, department, or quality and safety initiatives.
- The Medical Director will play a vital role in enhancing quality, safety, patient experience, best practices, and overall productivity within the Internal Medicine group.
- Responsibilities include supporting the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers, facilitating the Monument Health onboarding process, and fostering physician leadership within the team.
- Collaboration with the Executive Medical Director to establish departmental goals and objectives is essential.

Located in one of the fastest-growing communities in Central Florida, AdventHealth East Orlando serves the vibrant east Orange County population, including popular areas such as Waterford Lakes, Avalon Park, Lake Nona, and the University of Central Florida. Our facility features a newly designed emergency department equipped with 65 private patient rooms and a specialized pediatric department staffed by fellowship-trained pediatric emergency physicians. Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS) is required.
