The Inside Account Executive is a key player in our sales team, responsible for driving revenue by selling Axon’s complete range of products—including hardware, software, and service solutions—to new and existing clients in the corrections sector through telesales and some travel.
Location: Boston, MA or Scottsdale, AZ- HYBRID (in-office 3x per week)
Reports to: Director, Axon Corrections
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
- Manage accounts through both outbound and inbound outreach.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations to end-users via phone and web conferencing.
- Advocate for Axon’s suite of hardware, software, and service solutions.
- Participate in industry conferences, training, and Axon roadshows to enhance expertise.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales role.
- Proficient in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong telephone and virtual sales skills.
- Outstanding time management capabilities.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Integrity, assertiveness, and an organized approach.
