About the Role
The Inside Sales Representative for Air Distribution will play a crucial role in supporting ToroAire's HVAC and commercial kitchen operations by managing customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and driving sales of air distribution products and HVAC solutions. This position closely collaborates with outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to provide accurate quotes, process orders, and assist customers from initial design through to completion. The Inside Sales Rep acts as both a technical and commercial resource for contractors and engineers, ensuring precise solutions, timely follow-ups, and an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist assigned Outside Sales Engineers in facilitating sales.
- Provide backup support to fellow Inside Sales Engineers as needed.
- Guide customers in the proper application and selection of our equipment.
- Prepare quotes based on customer specifications.
- Input orders for equipment sold by Outside Sales Engineers.
- Maintain detailed tracking of the order process.
- Manage virtual files for all projects involving assigned sales personnel.
- Utilize manufacturer-provided selection programs to configure equipment for quoting and design.
- Offer technical support on product lines, nurturing strong working relationships through effective communication.
- Prepare submittals for sold equipment.
