The Financial Institutions Team
The Financial Institutions team at OpenZeppelin is pivotal in promoting the adoption of security solutions for financial institutions transitioning to on-chain operations. As tokenization and digital assets gain traction, we collaborate with the world’s largest institutions to provide top-tier security audits and time-tested open-source smart contract libraries.
Our objective is to drive revenue through top-notch security services while developing innovative solutions to meet the demands of a rapidly changing market. We work collaboratively across various departments, including Pre-Sales, Partnerships, Ecosystem, Project Delivery, and Legal, to ensure a seamless go-to-market strategy and impeccable execution.
Your Role
As the inaugural Institutional Sales Lead focused on the European market, you will play a crucial role in implementing our go-to-market strategy—from outbound prospecting to closing deals—while establishing a scalable sales organization. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Overseeing the complete sales cycle with financial institutions, including lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Facilitating discovery discussions with key stakeholders, such as C-suite executives and internal Solution Architects, to identify client needs and effectively communicate OpenZeppelin's value proposition.
- Propelling regional revenue growth by consistently achieving and surpassing your sales targets.
- Identifying strategic partnerships within your region to generate qualified leads and expedite deal velocity, subsequently transitioning leads to our Partnerships team at the appropriate time.
- Staying ahead of swiftly evolving market trends and competitive dynamics to proactively shape outreach and positioning.
