Position Overview:
The Instructional Aide plays a crucial role in supporting classroom activities and promoting positive student behaviors in both academic and extracurricular settings. This position involves ensuring a safe and encouraging environment aligned with the educational philosophy and policies of ACCEL Schools, the school's governing body, and relevant educational laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons to individual students or groups, adhering to instructional plans.
- Participate in planning classroom activities and foster positive relationships with students and parents.
- Support school events, including parent-faculty nights, meetings, and student activities.
- Assist with general classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.
