We are excited to announce an opening for an Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Industrial / Mining Team. In collaboration with the Energy and Resources sector, this role will be integral in managing a variety of multidisciplinary projects, primarily within the Heavy Industrial and Mining industries. Initially, this position will focus on designing materials handling, mechanical, process, and piping systems across Western Canada. The role is flexible and can be based in any of our offices across BC, AB, or SK.
Your skills combined with strong business acumen will be essential as we expand our team in Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and deliver a variety of outputs aligned with project requirements.
- Develop and produce design documentation for diverse industrial projects.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring deliverables are produced and approved.
- Work alongside the department Lead to explore new business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Assist stakeholders with proposal writing and fee estimations.
- Support business operations through effective management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledge, and resources.
- Provide expertise in brownfield and sustaining projects.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, along with other relevant policies.
- Manage and implement project budgets.
- Conduct site surveys as required.
