About the job
Join our Group Function Tax Team as an intern, starting immediately for a minimum of 6 months, preferably at our Berlin office. From day one, you will be a valued team member. Your experienced colleagues will guide you and continuously support you in your exciting area of responsibility, enabling you to take on your own tasks independently. Your primary focus will be on issues relating to national direct and indirect taxes as well as international taxation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- In-depth research on specific tax-related questions and tax evaluations
- Active participation in the preparation of German tax returns
- Monitoring of legislative initiatives at the OECD, EU, and Germany levels, and developing and presenting these (proposed) legislative changes or EU directives within the Tax Team
- Contributing to various corporate projects concerning national and international taxes
Your Team:
You will be part of a closely-knit and highly motivated team from various Roland Berger locations. We highly value good collaboration, empathy, and a positive work environment, treating our interns and working students with the same respect as our permanent employees and management. You will be actively integrated into daily operations, and with a tailored onboarding process, you will experience a steep learning curve. All employees at Roland Berger are also supported from the beginning by a mentor.
