The Internal Audit division at Coinbase operates as an independent third-line function, reporting directly to the Coinbase Audit Committee. Our mission is to provide an objective assessment of governance, compliance, risk management, and control processes. The Coinbase Internal Audit team is tasked with strategic analysis, risk assessments, audit plan development, project management, quality reviews, report issuance, and validation of audit findings across IT and business functions. By engaging in every aspect of audits—including planning, conducting walkthroughs, testing, addressing deficiencies, and writing reports—you will play a pivotal role in solidifying our status as an industry leader by evaluating management's effectiveness in controlling potential risks and providing value to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global internal audit team and outsourced partners to develop next-generation audit practices, ensuring a best-in-class internal audit function.
- Support Coinbase’s internal audit plan through comprehensive operational and compliance audits, encompassing audit planning, stakeholder management, fieldwork execution, reporting, and validation of remediated findings.
