Job Description
We are looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to become part of our growing adult primary care team in the Greater New Haven area. This is a full-time, permanent position primarily focused on outpatient care, supported by a dedicated nursing and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive outpatient adult primary care services.
Oversee chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and heart disease.
Conduct routine preventive care, annual exams, and wellness visits.
Collaborate with specialists, behavioral health providers, and allied health staff to coordinate care.
Utilize EMR systems effectively and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and team-based case discussions.
Remain up-to-date with clinical guidelines and best practices in internal medicine.
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; eligible for licensure in Connecticut.
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
Experience: Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates.
