As the International Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our global customer base, achieving revenue goals, enhancing profitability, and propelling growth. You will be part of a dedicated team of sales experts who excel in the vibrant and fast-paced realm of international trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of both existing sales pipelines and the cultivation of new business opportunities to meet international business objectives as outlined in the company’s strategic plan.
- Evaluate the performance of new customers to ensure they adhere to an established trading profile, and implement action plans to address any discrepancies.
- Facilitate the seamless transition of new accounts to the relevant members of the International Strategic Account team or CRM portfolio within six months of initiation, ensuring that revenue targets are met.
- Identify market trends and customer requirements, developing a robust sales pipeline aligned with short, medium, and long-term targets for core international services and tailored solutions.
- Lead the partnering process with new prospects, providing international expertise to ensure smooth implementation and collaboration across teams.
- Meet all product targets for the international portfolio as specified by the company.
- Embrace and promote new international products upon launch, identifying and securing appropriate business opportunities to support their establishment.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards necessary for processing credit facilities, maintaining a minimum of ISO standard.
- Consistently strive to exceed annual target criteria.
- Maintain daily updates of Salesforce records in accordance with company protocols.
- Achieve specific product/service targets as set by the Head of International Development.
- Lead the international tender process for new business prospects.
- Ensure compliance of new international accounts with operational and trade regulations.
- Share and expand your knowledge of international trade and logistics through education, networking, and presentations.
