Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a proactive, detail-oriented, and innovative International Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations across five countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and France.
This pivotal role combines strategic management with hands-on execution of comprehensive payroll functions, ensuring precision, uniformity, standardization, and adherence to SOX controls. As an integral part of our Accounting and People Operations teams, you will report to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll in the United States and work closely with cross-functional teams in our international operations.
While this is a remote position, we are a global company and prefer applicants based in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll operations for the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Guarantee compliance with all pertinent local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards.
- Collaborate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to enhance operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and precise communication.
- Maintain and enhance payroll-related systems, processes, and documentation.
