Utilizing new digital tools, particularly cloud solutions and modern architectures (containers, APIs, etc.), is often viewed as a significant opportunity to enhance flexibility and speed (time to market).
Cybersecurity is a critical component in successfully navigating this transformation.
INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVE
The goal of this internship/apprenticeship is to shed light on how cloud technologies and these new architectures can enhance the security of an organization's information systems. Various critical questions will be explored:
What security measures do industry leaders like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft implement to protect themselves and their clients?
How can we leverage cloud technology to revolutionize security?
What strategies can be employed to secure cloud infrastructures and services?
ASSIGNED TASKS
Under the guidance of a consultant and supervision from a manager, the intern may undertake part or all of the following tasks:
Review of security strategies and solutions employed by leading cloud providers.
Tools to detect attacks on cloud platforms.
Analysis of security control mechanisms and alert systems implemented in public cloud offerings, along with developing a security policy accelerator.
Methods for hybridizing existing security solutions to work with cloud environments.
Comparative analysis of IDaaS solutions in relation to IAM solutions.
Investigation and auditing methods for cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Design of a Cloud Capture The Flag challenge on AWS.
Methods for securing IoT services in the cloud.
Creation of a security model for Azure Active Directory.
Market analysis of solutions to manage administrative access and control machine-to-machine access in IaaS environments, offering best practices (both technological and organizational).
