As an intern, you will work alongside our dedicated field team, comprised of experienced reliability technicians and engineers specializing in Wabtec locomotive maintenance.
Your role will involve direct interaction with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, quality assurance, lean processes, fleet performance, material planning, and customer relations, offering you a comprehensive understanding of our operations.

The intern will actively participate in the analysis and interpretation of maintenance data, process monitoring, and action planning, supporting initiatives aimed at maintaining fleet performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, with an expected graduation date from 2027 onwards.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance area, gaining experience and knowledge about the involved processes;
- Analyze parts and assemblies of malfunctioning locomotives to identify root causes and improvement opportunities;
- Investigate the root causes of non-conformities in products using specific problem analysis methodologies, preparing reports for relevant departments;
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and maintenance controls for preventive actions and performance indicators;
- Engage in the development of projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance sector (Kaizen/continuous improvement);
- Ensure compliance with standardized processes, tools, and procedures relating to technical support for equipment, contributing to their enhancement;
- Directly communicate with clients regarding technical recommendations and project presentations;
- Follow internal guidelines and procedures as designated by the client's operational location, participating in necessary training for activity execution;
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and optimization of company assets, while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workplace;
- Adhere to integrity and compliance standards, as well as the company's EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies.
