The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Inventory Manager to oversee the complete inventory operations for our expanding collectibles division. You will lead our purchasing team, cultivate vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and develop scalable processes to ensure seamless product flow as we grow.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with operations, product, and finance teams to guarantee we maintain the right inventory at the right time and cost, all while upholding high standards for organization, data integrity, and operational excellence.
This position is based in South Bay, CA, and requires onsite presence five days a week, with occasional work at our headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the purchasing team, managing daily inventory operations across all categories of collectibles.
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and terms while managing an approved vendor network.
Design and implement scalable purchasing and inventory workflows, complete with clear documentation for team reference.
Ensure accurate inventory data within our database and uphold rigorous data quality standards.
Monitor inventory health through comprehensive reports and dashboards, providing leadership with clear visibility.
Utilize data analytics to inform purchasing decisions, collaborating with finance on optimal buying strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, operations, or supply chain within a high-growth company or e-commerce environment.
Proven track record in leading teams and managing vendor partnerships.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience in developing and optimizing inventory workflows is a plus.
